Mission Statement

Our goals for creative jazz organization

To promote and encourage the appreciation of America’s only
original art form. Jazz Music. To afford an opportunity for its
members, and the community at large, to enjoy JAZZ in an
atmosphere of good-fellowship, all within a comfortable and safe
environment. Also, to instill in the youth of our community a
knowledge and appreciation of the music while sponsoring and
encouraging young musicians to study and perform the music
of JAZZ.

Vision Statement

Looking to the future

As the oldest and active Jazz Organization in New York City since
1975. Creative Jazz Organization has continuously provided live
jazz music and awards scholarships to aspiring college-bound
students studying Jazz. Our vision for CJO is to continue to
develop community partnerships with local libraries,
schools….while promoting and developing programs for our youth
and the community at large.
